Over a decade ago, Gianluca Varriale arrived in Kenya and instantly fell in love with its beauty, culture, and vibrant hospitality. What began as a personal adventure soon became a lifelong commitment when he met his Kenyan wife and built a beautiful family.

With a deep appreciation for Watamu’s potential, Gianluca set out on a journey to create a service that blends professionalism with a personal touch. Through hard work, passion, and an unwavering focus on quality, Claris African Experience was born.

Today, we proudly manage 20 properties, have hosted over 2,000 guests, and continue to grow with a dedicated team of professionals.
